Therapy for people who fall through the cracks.

Gamers. Introverts. People with social anxiety. People whose friendships, habits and struggles live mostly online. This practice exists so you can get help without explaining your world first.

Why this practice exists

A lot of life happens online now: friendships, dating, work, rest, and the habits that get in the way of all of them. You shouldn't have to explain why a Discord server counts as a real friendship, or why you keep scrolling when you'd rather stop.

You probably already know the advice. Sleep more. Scroll less. Be more disciplined. But knowing what to do and doing it are different things. That gap is what we work on.

Why I started it

I grew up online: gaming, forums and Reddit, YouTube and streams, and friends I mostly knew online.

I was also part of a weekly support group. I got so much joy from watching the other members improve their lives, and they wanted the same for me.

When I went looking for a therapist who understood that world, I didn't find what I was looking for. So I built this practice around it, here in Ontario. I want to see people like us do well.

How I work

No lectures, and no "just quit." We figure out what's getting in the way and work from there.

CBT gives us the tools. Knowing online culture means I get the context. Together, we make it about your life, not a textbook case.

Not sure what to say? That's fine. You can start with "I don't know, I just feel stuck."

Sessions are 50 minutes, online anywhere in Ontario or in person in Richmond Hill.

When I'm not the right fit

  • I work with adults, 18 and over, in Ontario.
  • I see individuals, not couples or families.
  • For a diagnosis or medication, your doctor is the place to start.
  • If you need more care than therapy sessions can give, for example for an eating disorder, psychosis or withdrawal from alcohol or drugs, please start with your doctor.
  • I can't respond to emergencies. If you're in crisis, call or text 9-8-8, any time.

If this sounds like you, start with a free 20-minute call. No payment, no commitment.

If you're in crisis, the 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline is available 24/7. Call or text 9-8-8.
