The loop
Why it keeps happening.
- Stress, boredom, or loneliness
- The urge
- Porn
- Brief relief
- Shame
Porn often does a job: switching off stress, filling in for connection, or putting off something hard. The relief is brief, and the shame afterward can feed the next round.
Willpower focuses on one step. We work on the whole loop.
Maybe it's the wrong question
Say you'd spent a year following a guide for playing a medic and kept struggling. Then you checked your character sheet and found you were built as a sniper. The struggle would suddenly make sense. Therapy can start the same way: understanding your goals, strengths, and values first, then finding an approach that fits you.
How it works
How we break the cycle.
A free 20-minute call
Tell me what's going on, in your own words. No preparation needed.
Map your cycle and your goal
We'll look at what sets it off, what porn does for you, and what you want instead: whether that's quitting or cutting back to an amount you choose.
Tools and a plan
CBT gives us practical tools. We'll also plan for slips from the start, because a slip doesn't mean starting over.

Questions
Common questions.
No. Some people want to stop. Some want to cut back to an amount they're comfortable with. Others mostly want to get their work done or be present with a partner, and don't mind if porn stays. You set the goal, and we work toward it.
You don't need a label to start. Some people call it an addiction; some don't. What matters is what it's doing in your life.
That's fine. A slip shows us what was going on (the time, your mood, what you were putting off), and we use that to plan. It doesn't mean starting over.
If you have extended health benefits, your plan may cover psychotherapy. Check before your first session. I don't bill insurers directly: you pay, then claim it back with your receipt.

Not sure what to say? That's fine. You can start with "I don't know, I just feel stuck." No payment, no commitment.
